About Angas Macklin
Growing up on a farm taught Gus the attitude and flexibility to turn his hand to whatever needed attention: equipment, machinery, fencing and more. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Agribusiness) from Marcus Oldham College, Victoria. Gus is also a qualified fitter and welder with over 30 years’ experience in construction, agriculture and mining.
Gus’ varied and unique skills were recognised and rewarded early in his career. They include the ability to design, draw, build and implement for his clients, saving them time and reducing cost.
What also sets Gus apart in his industry is his professional interest in each client’s ‘big picture’. Both creative and realistic, Gus is continuously taking note of ways he can help a client improve their business operations. His work to provide solutions is based on a full understanding of the client’s needs and his ability to work efficiently alongside them to achieve results.
Gus’ energy, communication abilities, easy-going nature and exceptional interpersonal skills allow him to develop strong relationships with clients that lead to positive project outcomes.
Within BMFS, Gus draws on his high standards and natural teaching skills to supervise and mentor the employees who have joined the business since 2020.
About Belinda Macklin
Bindi holds a Bachelor of Business (Management) from Queensland University of Technology, a Diploma in Occupation Health & Safety (OH&S) and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. Following a successful decade working in contracts, OH&S and project management with a leading energy corporation, Bindi’s roles at BMFS include Business Manager and Bookkeeper.
Her strengths include an eye for detail and the ability to identify and coordinate the many factors that need to be managed to ensure BMFS runs smoothly. She also manages the challenges of being a full-time mum.
Gus and Bindi are grateful to be able to raise their young children in Queensland’s Scenic Rim. The couple is well known for their commitment to the clients of BMFS and to the community where they live and work.
